• Part-time Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a background in ECE or teaching and experience working with children from 0-8. This role involves providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The Childcare specialist will be responsible for engaging children in educational activities, managing behavior, and ensuring their overall well-being while moms participate in fitness classes on site. Responsibilities Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Provide care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed. Assist with behavior management techniques to encourage positive interactions among children. Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. When children not present help with daily gym duties that include light cleaning, organizing, refilling products, vacuuming and other daily tasks. Requirements Previous experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, or as a nanny is welcomed. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones. Ability to provide first aid when necessary; certification in CPR is needed. Experience with behavior management strategies to support children's emotional well-being. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members. A background in teaching or caregiving is highly desirable. Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children of all abilities are essential qualities for this role.
