Daycare Assistant

Daycare Assistant Gutierrez Family Childcare Overview We are looking for a reliable, caring, and energetic Childcare Assistant to join our daycare family. This role is perfect for someone who truly loves working with children and is quick on their feet in a busy, fun environment.

Responsibilities include:

Caring for children ages 12 months to 6 years old Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment Connecting with children through play, learning, and daily routines Assisting with meals, nap time, diapering, and potty training Cleaning and sanitizing throughout the day (toys, surfaces, play areas) Following daily schedules and daycare policies Communicating respectfully and positively with staff and parents What we're looking for: Dependable and punctual Loves children and has a positive attitude Quick on their feet and able to multitask Willing to help where needed and work as a team Have reliable transportation Willingness to complete state-required childcare training hours Ability to follow childcare licensing regulations and safety policies Comfortable with cleaning and maintaining a tidy space Previous childcare experience is a plus, but not required (we value the right heart and attitude!) Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older Pediatric CPR & First Aid Certification (required) Mandated Reporter Certification Must pass a criminal background check Willing to receive required vaccinations TB test clearance (or willingness to obtain) If you're someone who enjoys making a difference in a child's day and wants to be part of a supportive daycare environment, we'd love to hear from you!
