In this vital role, you will support classroom teachers by implementing engaging activities, assisting with lesson delivery, and fostering a positive, inclusive environment for children. Your energy and compassion will help create a nurturing space where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Duties Assist lead teachers in developing and executing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, focusing on literacy, math, and early childhood education. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies to maintain a safe and respectful environment. Work closely with children to support their individual needs, including those with disabilities or autism, ensuring equitable access to learning opportunities. Help facilitate activities that promote childhood development, including toddler care, Montessori methods, or preschool programs. Support classroom organization by preparing materials, setting up learning stations, and maintaining an orderly environment conducive to learning. Engage with children during instructional activities, providing one-on-one or small group support to enhance understanding and participation. Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members to share observations about student progress and behavior. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in classroom settings or daycare environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of special education practices, behavior management techniques, and curriculum development is advantageous. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and students. Familiarity with childhood development principles and early childhood education strategies such as Montessori or preschool methodologies. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is a plus. Ability to manage classroom routines and maintain a positive atmosphere through classroom management skills. Certification or training in childcare or early childhood education is desirable but not mandatory; relevant coursework or volunteer experience is valued.
