We're hiring an Assistant Director to support daily operations, coach teachers, and help lead a high-quality early childhood program. What's in it for you Clear path to Center Director growth Leadership experience in a structured, quality-focused program Support from an experienced Director and leadership team Ongoing training and professional development Tuition reimbursement and career advancement opportunities What you'll do Support daily school operations alongside the Director Coach and develop teachers to maintain strong classroom quality Ensure compliance with Colorado Early Childhood Licensing requirements Assist with enrollment, tours, and family communication Help maintain a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment What to expect This is a hands-on leadership role You will step into classrooms to support ratio and staff when needed Schedule is flexible and may include opening and closing shifts based on school needs What you'll need At least 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare setting Previous leadership experience (Assistant Director, Lead Teacher, or similar) Strong understanding of classroom operations, compliance, and staff support Must meet Colorado Early Childhood licensing qualifications (education and/or ECE coursework required) Level 3
Preferred Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options.
Salary Range:
$27.00-$28.00 Health insurance (medical, dental, vision, and FSA) provided for full-time employees, Limited medical offered for part-time workers Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification, 401K (plus company match), life and disability insurance and child care discount available to all employees All employees in Colorado are eligible for paid sick leave, as required by the Healthy Families Work Act. Full-time employees are provided with 48 hours upon hire and annually each fiscal year thereafter. Part-time and temporary employees earn paid sick leave based upon hours worked.

If so, how many years? Are you willing to regularly support in the classroom as needed? Which best describes your leadership experience in a childcare setting? I am currently an Assistant Director or have held that role I am a Lead Teacher with leadership responsibilities I have informal leadership experience (training, mentoring, etc.) I do not have leadership experience This role requires flexibility, including opening and closing shifts and supporting classrooms when needed. Are you able to meet these expectations? Are you comfortable working closely with a Director to support team performance and accountability? Do you have direct experience managing licensing requirements, inspections, or compliance in a childcare setting? What level in CO Shines are you- Level 3 minimum required for this role
