Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic French Speaking Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team here at L'École de Denver. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can explore, learn, and grow. Your enthusiasm for teaching and your ability to communicate fluently in French will inspire young learners and support their developmental milestones. We are a French Immersion School, 90% of our curriculum is in French. The ages we accept are 2.5 (potty trained) to 5 years old. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while fostering their curiosity and love for learning. Duties Develop engaging, age-appropriate play-based lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles, including literacy education, math, and physical education. Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies. Support early intervention efforts by identifying individual needs related to childhood development and special education requirements. Implement classroom activities that promote social-emotional growth, language acquisition, and cognitive skills in young children. Collaborate with parents, guardians, and colleagues to ensure child welfare and consistent educational support. Utilize standardized testing methods and assessment tools to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Requirements Fluency in French is essential; proficiency in English is preferred for effective communication with diverse teams. Prior preschool experience or classroom experience working with children is required; familiarity with early childhood education standards is highly valued. ECE Lead Teacher qualified for the state of Colorado with Level 2 on PDIS or working towards it. Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques is necessary. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Understanding of childhood development stages and behavior management strategies. Ability to collaborate with a fellow lead teacher in the classroom.
Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
