We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and interested in growing with our program. For the right person, this role could develop into increased responsibility and leadership opportunities, including helping lead our childcare program in the future. Hours Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Responsibilities Care for children in a licensed home childcare environment. Lead a brief morning circle time for children of all ages and help create a positive start to the day. Supervise children during breakfast and snack while working alongside the lead teacher . Assist children with daily routines, including diapering, handwashing, dressing, and transitions between activities. Support outdoor play and actively engage children in age-appropriate activities while preschool instruction is taking place. Assist with lunch and help prepare children for nap by diapering, changing into sleep sacks, and following established sleep routines. Follow all licensing requirements and established procedures for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining a healthy classroom environment. Communicate with the provider regarding children's needs and any concerns. Work collaboratively with the provider and assistant teacher to maintain a calm, organized environment. Qualifications Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children required. Patient, dependable, and comfortable caring for multiple children at once. Ability to lift and carry young children when necessary. Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire, required. Must meet all education and background requirements for licensed home daycare staff. At least 18 years old Ideal Candidate We are especially interested in candidates who view early childhood education as a long-term career. Individuals pursuing or holding coursework in Early Childhood Education, recent graduates, or those interested in helping lead and eventually operate a home childcare program are strongly encouraged to apply. This position is ideal for someone who wants to build a career in early childhood education and grow with a family-centered program over the coming years. Compensation is $17-$20 per hour depending on experience
