This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing community, help shape a positive learning environment from the ground up, and enjoy excellent room for professional growth and advancement. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education settings and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. Our Pay scale is based on current PDIS Level qualifications. (Each level is a different pay rate). Open 7am-5:30pm Responsibilities Serve as a Christ-centered role model, demonstrating compassion, integrity, and a deep love for Jesus in all interactions. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards, focusing on physical education, math, and other foundational skills. Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students. Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to share insights about children's development and progress. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Experience Previous experience in daycare or early childhood education settings is preferred. ECE Lead Qualified - this means you must hold a Level 2 PDIS credential. Minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood education or a similar setting. Experience in curriculum development and classroom management is highly desirable. Knowledge of toddler care practices and early intervention strategies is an asset. A degree or formal certification in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field is highly desirable. Must pass all required background checks prior to employment.
