Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a difference in the lives of students by working as a Special Education Teacher supporting early childhood, elementary, middle, or high school learners. This contract-based opportunity offers the chance to develop individualized education plans and provide essential instruction to meet the unique needs of each student. Desired Qualifications:
Current teaching license or certification in Special Education (or eligibility for licensure) Experience in early childhood, elementary, middle, or high school settings Strong understanding of special education laws, IEP development, and differentiated instruction Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills Adaptability to work in diverse educational environments Passion for fostering student engagement and success
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's requirements Evaluate and monitor student progress, making appropriate adjustments to instruction Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and staff to support inclusive practices Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and resources Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student assessments Cultivate a positive, supportive learning environment for all students Maintain records and documentation in accordance with district and legal guidelines As a valued educator in this contract position, you'll receive support and resources to carry out your important work.
