Preschool Teacher -Part Time The Regional YMCA Of Western Connecticut - 3.9 Bethel, CT Job Details Part-time 1 day ago Qualifications Bachelor of Science Bachelor's degree in early childhood education Education Bachelor's degree Portuguese Preschool teaching Educational compliance and regulation understanding Entry level Early Childhood Education Full Job Description Seeking a Head Teacher who is a compassionate and dynamic individual with a deep passion for teaching to join our team at our NAEYC Accredited Early Learning Program located in Bethel, CT. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education or be willing to work towards one. Additionally, candidates should have existing knowledge or a willingness to acquire knowledge about the Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards, as well as the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) standards, and CT State Licensing regulations. Proficiency in Portuguese or Spanish is desirable but not mandatory. This is a part-time position that runs the school year from 8:30-1:00, Monday to Friday.
