Preschool Substitute Teacher Reports to: Director of Early Childhood Education Full-time position Job description Would you like to work for an established, quality, community early learning program in the unique environment of a children's museum? Come work for our NAEYC Accredited, Reggio-Emilia inspired early learning program! We are looking for early childhood professionals for Toddler/Twos, and Preschool age group classrooms. The Substitute Teacher is a valuable part of our teaching team in the early learning center. The assistant teacher implements daily activities and lessons in the classroom and museum, assists the head teacher with lesson planning, observation and documentation, and assessments in accordance with NAEYC, School Readiness, and OEC guidelines. The assistant teacher also helps to prepare the learning environment, conduct small group lessons, and supervise the children under the head teacher's direction. This position is typically part-time and we are willing to coordinate a schedule that best suits your needs, however it can also be full-time depending on the staff needed in the center.
