Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Floater Teacher to join our early childhood education team, supporting infants through preschool-aged children. In this vital role, you will provide flexible classroom coverage, assist with curriculum implementation, and foster a nurturing environment that promotes growth, development, and a love of learning. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work across various age groups, gaining diverse classroom experience while contributing to the success of our educational programs. The ideal candidate is energetic, passionate about working with young children, and committed to creating engaging and supportive learning spaces. Duties Provide coverage for classrooms across infant, toddler, and preschool levels to ensure continuous learning experiences for children when lead teachers are unavailable or during peak times Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment that encourages good behavior and fosters child welfare Collaborate with lead teachers on lesson planning, activity setup, and individualized instruction for children with special needs or in early intervention programs Engage actively with children during play, learning activities, and routines to promote development in areas such as language skills, motor skills, and socialization Maintain open communication with parents and team members regarding children's progress and classroom activities Ensure safety protocols are followed diligently and assist with daily childcare routines such as diapering, feeding, and nap times Qualifications Prior experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and families Ability to adapt quickly across different age groups and classroom environments Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is encouraged Join us in shaping young minds by providing energetic support across our classrooms!
