RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement lessons and units using Common Core State Standards and ELDS Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum encouraging self-esteem and independence for the social, emotional, cognitive and physical needs of each child. Provide care and supervision of children enrolled in the program. Supervise child care assistants. Ensure that the program is in compliance with School Readiness and NAEYC standards. Carry out all record-keeping and reporting requirements for the child care program. Communicate effectively with staff and families on an ongoing basis. Apprise Family Resource Center Leader or building administrator of student family needs. Function as a positive, contributing member of a team. Participate in child care team meetings. Ensure that classroom equipment and materials are organized for use. Maintain confidentiality of family/staff/school-related information. Perform other duties as assigned by the Family Resource Center Leader or building administrator.
