Job Description

Nitsuj Martial Arts is looking for an energetic, reliable, and motivated instructor to teach martial arts classes for children at daycare centers, schools, and community locations throughout Western Massachusetts, including Longmeadow, East Longmeadow, Wilbraham, Agawam, West Springfield, Chicopee, and surrounding communities And northern Connecticut Simsbury Enfield area Compensation & Schedule $50 to $75 per teaching hour depending on experience, performance, and responsibilities. This position begins at approximately 5 hours per week and is expected to grow as additional schools and childcare centers are added. Classes are held at multiple locations throughout the week, primarily between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., with some afternoon opportunities available. You will work directly with Founder and CEO Justin Leary while helping grow programs throughout the region. Martial Arts Experience Is a Plus, But Not Required The most important qualification is the ability to work effectively with children ages 3 to 5. If you are energetic, patient, engaging, and comfortable leading groups of young children, we will provide the martial arts training needed to succeed. In fact, some of our best instructors have little or no martial arts experience. Candidates with experience teaching preschool or daycare children ages 3 to 5 are often the strongest fit for this position because they already understand classroom management, child engagement, and age appropriate instruction. This opportunity is especially ideal for preschool teachers, daycare teachers, early childhood educators, camp counselors, youth coaches, and other professionals who have experience working with children ages 3 to 5.
