Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can grow and develop at their own pace. As an Infant/Toddler Teacher, you will provide high-quality early childhood education for children ages 0-3, fostering social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. This role requires a caring individual who values the importance of building strong, trusting relationships with both children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide developmentally appropriate care and education for infants and toddlers in a safe and nurturing environment. Plan and implement daily activities, including play-based learning, storytelling, music, art, and physical activities, to promote overall child development. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds Comfortable being outdoors in all types of weather Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences. Ensure a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment, including maintaining toys, equipment, and supplies. Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment for all children. Adhere to all licensing regulations, safety protocols, and school policies. Support children in developing early social skills, such as sharing, taking turns, and expressing their feelings appropriately. Participate in ongoing professional development and training including Care 4 Kids Health and Safety Training.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent (required). CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or Early Childhood Education degree (preferred). Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood setting (preferred). Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate practices. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff. First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children. Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues.
