As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a key role in guiding children through their early learning journey while ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives every day! Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development, early education, and social skills. Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety and engagement. Foster a nurturing environment that supports children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements. Maintain clear communication with parents or guardians regarding each child's progress and daily activities. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques. Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently, including first aid procedures when necessary. Assist with diapering, feeding, and basic caregiving tasks for infants and toddlers to support their growth milestones. Skills Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool settings, or as a nanny or babysitter. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR to respond confidently to emergencies. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued. Excellent classroom management skills to create a structured yet flexible learning environment. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
