Current or eligible to hold Delaware certification as a Early Chilldhood special education teacher Experience with students who have moderate to severe disabilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach students with disabilities Plans a program of study that meets the individual need, interests and abilities of the students Prepares for classes assigned, and show written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate supervisor Encourages students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior Employs a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media consistent with needs and capabilities of the individuals or student groups involved. Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provides reports as required, as well as notifying parents of student progress when necessary Diagnoses the learning disabilities of students on a regular basis, seeking the assistance of district specialist as required Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation Other duties as assigned by supervisorPhysical Demands:
