Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment where infants can explore, learn, and develop foundational skills. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education will inspire young learners and support their growth in their earliest stages of life. Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that promote early literacy, social-emotional skills, and physical development for infants. Foster a warm, caring environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive interactions among children. Monitor and document each child's progress, behavior, and milestones to tailor activities that meet their individual needs. Engage in effective communication with parents and guardians to share updates on their child's growth and address any concerns. Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and hygiene practices in accordance with health and safety standards. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum enhancements that incorporate Montessori methods, early intervention strategies, and special education techniques when needed. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to childcare regulations and promotes child welfare at all times. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education tailored for infants. Certification in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous; relevant coursework in special education or early intervention is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members. Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting infants safely, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
