Position:
Lead Teacher Schedule:

As a state-funded, 5-star center, we strive to offer our families high-quality care through our dedicated team of teachers. Position Overview We are seeking a warm, energetic Preschool Teacher who feels called to serve young children through high‑quality early learning. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education and values teamwork. Key Responsibilities
  • Direct child supervision
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play‑based learning experiences
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families
  • Support children's social-emotional development through positive, values‑driven guidance
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
  • Observe and document children's progress
  • Collaborate with co‑teachers and leadership to uphold a unified, mission‑driven culture
  • Follow licensing regulations, center policies, and health/safety standards Qualifications
  • Delaware First Early Childhood Teacher Certificate
  • CPR/First Aid or ability to attain within 30 days
  • CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) preferred
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
