Job Description

Position:
Preschool Teacher, Aide, or Floater (Toddler Focus) We are currently seeking a strong, experienced Lead Toddler Teacher , along with qualified Preschool Teachers, Aides, and Floaters, to join our team. Our goal is to nurture young learners by building a solid educational and faith-based foundation that supports their growth and prepares them for future academic success.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 45 DCF hours completed CDA or FCCPC credential preferred Previous experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children Certification in Child CPR (or willingness to obtain) About the
Role:
The ideal candidate is passionate, patient, and committed to fostering a love of learning through structured play . Teachers will incorporate a faith-based foundation through Christ , while supporting children in meeting developmental milestones and preparing for their next stage of education.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans Use a variety of teaching methods (educational play, storytelling, hands-on activities) Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development Encourage positive interactions and guide conflict resolution Promote creativity through art, play, and structured learning activities Supervise children during all activities, ensuring safety at all times Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment Track and communicate student progress with parents Collaborate with fellow staff to support overall classroom success
Skills & Qualities:
Strong understanding of early childhood development Excellent communication and classroom management skills Patient, nurturing, and dependable Ability to engage and build trust with children Team-oriented with a positive attitude
