Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where infants can explore, learn, and grow. Your enthusiasm for child development and commitment to safety will help lay a strong foundation for each child's future. As an Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate activities, ensuring the well-being of every infant, and fostering a positive, engaging classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity and joy. Duties Develop and implement engaging daily lesson plans tailored to infants' developmental stages, focusing on sensory exploration, motor skills, and emotional security Provide attentive infant care by feeding, diapering, soothing, and supporting sleep routines in accordance with individual needs and schedules Create a safe and clean classroom environment by maintaining proper sanitation standards and ensuring all safety protocols are followed at all times Observe and document each infant's progress, milestones, and behaviors to inform ongoing care strategies and communicate with parents regularly Foster positive social interactions among infants through gentle guidance, encouraging sharing, cooperation, and emotional development Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities that promote early childhood education principles such as curiosity, independence, and problem-solving Maintain accurate records of attendance, health updates, and developmental observations in compliance with licensing requirements Experience Previous experience working with infants in a daycare or early childhood education setting is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development stages specific to infants and toddlers is essential Experience in classroom management techniques that support behavior management and positive reinforcement strategies Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and needs Familiarity with early childhood education best practices, including caregiving routines such as feeding, diapering, and sleep support Proven skills in nurturing caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting are valuable assets Join us in shaping the earliest moments of children's lives!
