Preschool Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Must complete DCF 45hrs of Training & Level 2 Background Screening
• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in each child
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians
• Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
• Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in the classroom
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment

Experience:

• Previous experience working with children, such as nannying, daycare, babysitting, or classroom settings
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies
• Strong caregiving skills and ability to meet the needs of individual children
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with young children
