Pay rate: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday - Friday | Within operating hours 6:00am-6:00pm Nurture, Teach, and Inspire from the Very Beginning We are looking for a caring, dependable, and experienced Lead Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Cape Coral. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about infant development and enjoys creating a safe, loving, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow during their most important developmental years. As the Lead Infant Teacher, you will oversee the daily operation of the infant classroom, provide responsive care, and implement age-appropriate activities that support each child's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Responsibilities Lead and manage the daily activities of the infant classroom Create and maintain a nurturing, safe, and stimulating learning environment Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities Support infants' developmental milestones through intentional interactions and play Maintain feeding, diapering, sleeping, and hygiene routines Observe, document, and communicate children's progress with families and leadership Ensure compliance with all licensing, health, and safety regulations Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment Supervise and collaborate with assistant teachers and support staff Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old High School Diploma or GED required Florida 45-Hour DCF Child Care Certification required Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting preferred Knowledge of infant development and developmentally appropriate practices Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills CPR and First Aid Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Reliable, patient, nurturing, and team-oriented CDA (preferred) Benefits Health Insurance 401(k) Professional development opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunities for growth and advancement If you are passionate about providing exceptional care and helping infants reach important developmental milestones, we would love to hear from you.
