Position Summary:
Magnolia Kids Academy is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable teacher to supervise our Summer Camp and Before/After Care Program. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for school-age children while supporting educational and recreational activities. Candidates must enjoy working with children, demonstrate strong communication skills, and maintain a positive attitude.

Summer Camp Teacher Monday•Friday 11:00 AM•6:00
PM Before & After Care Teacher Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday:
Morning Shift:
7:00 AM•8:30
AM Afternoon Shift:
1:45 PM•6:00
PM Wednesday:

PM Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children. Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, games, crafts, and enrichment experiences. Assist with homework and provide educational support as needed. Maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff. Follow all Magnolia Kids Academy policies and DCF licensing regulations. Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness. Supervise transitions, snack times, outdoor play, and field trips. Monitor attendance and communicate important information to parents and administration. Assist with daily setup and closing procedures. Transport children safely to and from local elementary schools and field trip locations as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience working with children in a childcare, school, camp, or after-school setting preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to supervise groups of children while maintaining a positive and engaging environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Must be dependable, punctual, and flexible. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively participate in outdoor activities.
Driving Requirements:
Valid Florida driver's license. Clean driving record with no major violations. Comfortable driving a childcare van or transporting children safely. Ability to meet all insurance and licensing requirements for transporting children.
Preferred Qualifications:
CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). DCF childcare training completed or willingness to complete required training. Experience planning recreational and educational activities for school-age children. Full-Time/Part-Time Position Summary:
Magnolia Kids Academy is seeking a caring, energetic, and experienced Preschool Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, enjoys working with children, and is committed to supporting each child's social, emotional, physical, and academic development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and maintain a safe, positive, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment. Plan and implement engaging lesson plans and hands-on learning activities. Support children's social, emotional, language, and cognitive development. Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, outdoor play, and transitions. Maintain accurate attendance records and daily communication with parents. Follow all Magnolia Kids Academy policies and Florida DCF licensing regulations. Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and learning centers. Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and administration. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities. Foster positive relationships with children and families.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a preschool or early childhood education setting is required. High school diploma or equivalent required. CDA Credential, Staff Credential, or Early Childhood Education coursework is preferred. Completion of the Florida DCF 45-Hour Child Care Training is preferred. CPR and First Aid Certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Must be dependable, organized, and professional. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively participate in classroom and outdoor activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC), CDA, or equivalent credential. CPR and First Aid Certified. Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards. Experience implementing lesson plans and conducting assessments in an early childhood setting.
