Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising children, supporting their developmental needs, and fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages learning and growth. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for children, ensuring their safety at all times. Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills. Support infants and toddlers with feeding, diapering, nap routines, and basic health needs. Engage children in educational play, teaching foundational skills in early childhood education and behavior management. Follow mandated reporting laws to document any concerns related to child safety or well-being. Collaborate with families and team members to create individualized care plans that meet each child's unique needs. Maintain a clean, organized environment that complies with health and safety standards for daycare or classroom settings. Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or youth programs is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience caring for infants, toddlers, and children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid is required; ongoing training is encouraged. Familiarity with classroom experience, behavior management techniques, and caregiving responsibilities enhances your effectiveness in this role. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws ensures compliance with legal requirements related to child safety. Teaching experience with young children or in early childhood education settings will support your success as a Child Care Provider.
