In this energetic role, you will serve as a versatile classroom presence, stepping in seamlessly to support teachers and maintain a nurturing, engaging environment for young learners. Your enthusiasm and flexibility will help ensure that every child receives consistent, high-quality education and care, regardless of staffing changes. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain diverse classroom experience while making a positive impact on children's development. Duties Step into various classrooms to provide consistent coverage, ensuring smooth daily operations across different age groups and programs Assist with curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to early childhood education standards Support teachers in implementing engaging activities that promote literacy, math skills, and social-emotional growth Manage behavior and classroom routines to foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment Work closely with children to support their individual needs, including those with special education requirements or working with children with autism Facilitate positive interactions among students, encouraging social skills and cooperative play Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and caregivers to share progress and address any concerns Requirements Prior experience working with children in preschool or early childhood setting DCF Basic Classes completed and on your transcript Current Florida Fingerprints A desire to grow.
