The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and supportive environment for young children. This role involves caring for toddlers and preschool-aged children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities and structured learning experiences. Duties Provide high-quality care and supervision for toddlers and preschool-aged children in a safe and nurturing environment. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play, exploration, and hands-on activities. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills, independence, and self-esteem. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning atmosphere while addressing the individual needs of each child. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive teaching approach that supports all students, including those with disabilities or special needs. Stay current on best practices in early childhood education through ongoing professional development. Qualifications Experience in toddler care or preschool settings is preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is essential. Familiarity with special education techniques and experience working with students with disabilities is a plus. Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members. A background in caregiving or related fields will be beneficial. A degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
