  • Part-time, Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team.
In this role, you will lead classroom activities and curriculum development tailored specifically for toddlers and infants, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes growth, curiosity, and social-emotional development. Your leadership will ensure that each child's unique needs are met through engaging lessons, effective behavior management, and compassionate care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence young lives during their most formative years while working collaboratively with families and fellow educators. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, early intervention strategies, and Montessori principles to support holistic childhood development. Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for toddlers and infants. Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and physical activities aligned with best practices in toddler care. Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive social interactions and emotional regulation among children. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or special education needs. Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, child observations, standardized testing results, and individualized education plans (IEPs) when applicable. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides to ensure high-quality classroom management and instructional delivery. Requirements Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, particularly with toddlers and infants. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, classroom management strategies, and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with curriculum development including literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and Montessori methods. Experience with special education practices and early intervention programs is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Certification in early childhood education or related field; additional training in child welfare or daycare operations is a plus. Ability to plan engaging lessons through lesson planning expertise while maintaining compliance with state licensing standards.
