  • 2:00 PM Alphabetland North Lauderdale Education Centers is seeking a dedicated and compassionate VPK/Pre-K Teacher for an inclusion-based classroom housed within Bennett Elementary School for the 2025-2026 school year.
This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by working in a mixed classroom setting of both VPK and ESE students. The classroom will include 6 students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 12 VPK students .
Responsibilities:
Implement and follow the Florida VPK curriculum and daily lesson plans Support and implement IEP goals for students with special needs Collect and maintain data on student progress toward IEP goals Attend and contribute to IEP meetings Create an inclusive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment Collaborate with school staff and support personnel to ensure student success Maintain compliance with all program and educational standards
Requirements:
Must hold at least a Temporary Teaching Certificate through the Florida Department of Education Must have or be willing to obtain a VPK Endorsement , staff credential and VPK Early Literacy requirements Experience working in early childhood and/or special education preferred Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills Must be available to attend trainings beginning two weeks prior to the school year beginning and begin working one week prior to the school year starting Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently This is a rewarding opportunity for educators who are passionate about inclusive learning and early childhood development.
