Responsibilities:

As a VPK/Preschool Teacher at Explorations , you will play a pivotal role in nurturing the growth and development of children under your care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and implementing age-appropriate educational activities that stimulate learning and creativity.
• Providing a nurturing and safe environment for children to learn and explore.
• Building positive and constructive relationships with the children and their families.
• Maintaining a clean and organized classroom conducive to learning.
• Observing and documenting the progress of each child, sharing insights with parents and supervisors as needed.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of college diploma or equivalent Child Development Associate (CDA) certification.
• Valid VPK credentials (Directors credentials are a plus!)
• Previous experience in child care, early childhood education, or a related field.
• Demonstrated passion for working with children and fostering their growth and development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages learning and creativity.
• Must pass a thorough background check and adhere to all state licensing requirements.
