Early Childcare Teacher

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, nurturing, and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, maintains a safe and engaging classroom, and works well in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide a safe, caring, and structured environment for children Implement age-appropriate activities based on curriculum (Creative Curriculum/Teaching Strategies) Supervise children at all times and maintain proper ratios per DCF guidelines Use positive guidance and redirection techniques Maintain a clean, organized classroom Communicate effectively with parents and staff Complete daily reports, incident reports, and required documentation Follow all DCF rules, regulations, and center policies

Requirements:

Must have completed DCF 45-hour training (or be actively working toward completion) Prior childcare experience preferred Must pass Level 2 background screening Reliable and punctual Strong communication and teamwork skills CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)

Schedule:

Full-time and part-time positions available Monday-Friday (no weekends)

Based on experience
