Job Description

Kindergarten Teacher (2026-2027 School Year) My Happy House Learning Center - Hialeah, FL About Us My Happy House Learning Center is a well-established early childhood education center committed to providing a nurturing, safe, and inspiring environment where children can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Our mission is to support every child's development through engaging learning experiences that foster confidence, creativity, and a love of learning. Our Kindergarten program follows the Abeka curriculum , a structured, phonics-based program designed to build strong academic foundations while promoting character development and critical thinking skills. Position Overview We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Kindergarten Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will create a positive and engaging classroom environment, deliver high-quality instruction, and support the holistic development of each student. Key Responsibilities Plan and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the Abeka curriculum and school standards Foster a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment Support students' academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth Use creative teaching strategies to promote literacy, math, and critical thinking skills Assess student progress and maintain accurate records Collaborate with staff and administration to support school initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred) Experience teaching Kindergarten or early elementary grades (preferred) Knowledge of phonics-based instruction and early literacy development Strong classroom management and organizational skills Passion for working with young children in a nurturing, faith-based environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with Abeka curriculum Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus What We Offer Supportive and collaborative work environment Small class sizes with individualized attention Opportunities for professional growth and development Participation in a high-quality, accredited early learning program Meaningful work impacting children and families in the community Join Our Team At My Happy House Learning Center, we believe that teachers play a vital role in shaping the future.
