The ideal candidate will be able to work alongside an assistant teacher in a classroom setting with more than 10 students. This role involves lesson planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing behavior management techniques to maintain a harmonious atmosphere. Provide individualized support to children with special needs or disabilities, adapting activities to meet diverse learning requirements. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns regarding development or behavior. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that promotes learning. Minimum Requirements DCF 45 hour training Background Check CPR certified Speaks English Ideal Candidate CDA certified
