Job Description

Job Summary Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Daycare Teacher, where your enthusiasm and dedication will foster a nurturing environment for young learners. In this role, you will create engaging activities that promote childhood development, support individual needs, and ensure a safe, positive space for children to explore and grow. Your passion for working with children will inspire their curiosity and love of learning from infancy through preschool age. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while developing your skills in early childhood education. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum activities that stimulate cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development Supervise and engage with children during playtime, learning activities, meals, naps, and outdoor excursions Foster a safe and inclusive environment by practicing proper classroom management and behavior guidance techniques Provide basic first aid and respond effectively to minor injuries or emergencies in accordance with safety protocols Collaborate with parents and guardians to share progress updates and address individual needs or concerns Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom, educational materials, and toys to promote hygiene and safety Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care as needed Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar caregiving roles Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Classroom experience managing groups of young children with patience and positive reinforcement strategies Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, preschool activities, and behavior management techniques Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Demonstrated ability to create engaging learning environments that support social-emotional growth Strong communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and children Join us in shaping the future by providing compassionate care and inspiring young minds! Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
