With nine classrooms and a dedicated team of staff, the school maintains a strong reputation for excellence, accredited by NAEYC and APPLE and consistently filled with eager learners on a waiting list. Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Threes Teacher with a CDA or equivalent to join our dynamic early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment tailored to the developmental needs of three-year-olds. Your passion for fostering early learning, combined with your expertise in curriculum development and classroom management, will inspire young minds and support their growth across all areas of childhood development. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills for three-year-olds. Must have a CDA or degree in early childhood education. Create a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning through play. Plan daily lessons that incorporate Montessori methods, early intervention strategies, and standards-based assessments to monitor progress. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive behavior management techniques to foster a respectful community. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress and address individual needs related to special education or early intervention programs. Maintain detailed records of student development, attendance, and assessments in compliance with licensing standards. Support children's welfare by ensuring their safety, well-being, and emotional security throughout the day. Requirements Proven classroom experience working with preschool children, particularly in toddler or early childhood settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management strategies. Experience with special education practices and early intervention programs is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and literacy education techniques. Certification or training in early childhood education or Montessori methods preferred. Ability to plan engaging lessons in math, physical education, and other core subjects aligned with preschool standards. Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
