Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and nurturing Lead Two-Year-Old Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. This role requires strong classroom management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with families and team members in a large group care setting. Responsibilities Create and maintain a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment for two-year-old children Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development Manage daily classroom routines, transitions, meals, and nap times effectively Maintain accurate classroom documentation, daily reports, and attendance records Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members Work collaboratively with teaching team and administration to support school goals and classroom success Ensure compliance with all state licensing, health, and safety regulations Maintain a clean, organized, and detail-oriented classroom environment Use positive guidance and behavior management techniques consistently Communicate professionally and effectively with parents regarding children's progress and daily activities Qualifications Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a preschool or large group child care setting preferred Florida DCF 45 Hours Certification required CDA (Child Development Associate) or Florida Staff Credential required Strong classroom management and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Experience with Procare and Frog Street curriculum is a plus Must be reliable, professional, and detail-oriented Must have a warm, welcoming personality and a smiling face every day Skills & Attributes Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience, flexibility, and professionalism Ability to work well with others and contribute positively to team culture Passion for early childhood education and child development Creative, energetic, and engaging teaching style Physical Requirements Ability to lift, bend, sit on the floor, and actively engage with young children throughout the day Ability to supervise children both indoors and outdoors We are looking for someone who loves working with young children, values teamwork, and takes pride in creating a happy and organized classroom environment where children can thrive.
