Preschool Teacher

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, Frog Street curriculum and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curriculum activities that promote childhood development, literacy, and social skills. The Preschool Teacher will work closely with children, parents, and staff to ensure the highest standards of care and education. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards. Create lesson plans that incorporate various subjects including literacy, math, and physical education. Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for all students. Foster positive relationships with children through effective behavior management techniques. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed. Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's learning and development at home. Provide support for special education needs and early intervention strategies when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized classroom that promotes exploration and learning. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Experience CDA and DCF 45 Hour Training Certification Required . Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Experience in special education or working with children requiring additional support is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues. Knowledge of developmental milestones in childhood development is essential. Previous experience in private school settings or Montessori methods is a plus.
