Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Preschool Teacher to guide and nurture our 3-year-old learners. In this vital role, you will create a vibrant, engaging classroom environment that promotes early childhood development, literacy, social skills, and foundational learning. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young children to explore, discover, and grow through thoughtfully planned activities and compassionate guidance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the educational journey of preschoolers in a supportive and dynamic setting. Duties Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to 3-year-olds, incorporating early intervention strategies, literacy education, math concepts, and Montessori principles where applicable. Design engaging lesson plans that foster curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional growth while aligning with early childhood education standards. Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages positive behavior management and classroom management techniques. Support children's individual needs through specialized approaches such as special education accommodations or early intervention programs. Facilitate effective communication with children, parents, and team members to promote child welfare and ensure consistent progress updates. Conduct ongoing assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental milestones and inform instructional strategies. Lead activities that promote physical education, fine motor skills, literacy development, and social interaction among preschoolers. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting, with a minimum of classroom experience in early childhood education. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, tutoring techniques, and teaching physical education for young children. Experience with special education needs or early intervention programs is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and community partners. Certification in early childhood education or related fields; Montessori certification is a plus. Ability to create a nurturing environment that prioritizes child welfare while fostering academic growth through engaging activities like math lessons or literacy education.
