Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Teacher or Daycare Staff member, where your passion for nurturing young minds will make a meaningful difference. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children at various developmental stages, from infants to preschoolers. Your dedication will help foster curiosity, social skills, and foundational learning through structured activities and compassionate caregiving. Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, including sensory play, arts and crafts, storytime, and outdoor exploration Ensure the safety and well-being of children by adhering to all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and mandated reporting laws Support children's social-emotional growth through positive behavior management and classroom management techniques Provide attentive infant care and toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages learning and creativity Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, developmental observations, and incident reports in compliance with licensing standards Experience Prior experience working with children in a daycare setting or preschool environment is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience with classroom experience management tools or curriculum planning is advantageous Familiarity with special education needs and working with individuals with disabilities enhances your ability to support diverse learners Certification in first aid, pediatric first aid, or CPR is a strong plus; ongoing training in caregiving or behavior management is encouraged Proven ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a nurturing atmosphere Previous nannying or babysitting experience involving infants or toddlers can provide valuable skills for this role Embark on a rewarding career where your enthusiasm for early childhood education helps shape bright futures.
