Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Experienced Infant Teacher (Closer) to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and education to infants, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment during the closing shift. Your expertise in early childhood development, classroom management, and caregiving will help foster a positive experience for both children and families. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives while working in a supportive and energetic setting. Duties Supervise and care for infants during the closing hours, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times Implement age-appropriate activities that promote developmental milestones in areas such as motor skills, language, and social-emotional growth Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment aligned with health and safety standards Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's day, progress, and any concerns Follow all licensing regulations and company policies related to childcare, first aid, and emergency procedures Assist with diapering, feeding, nap routines, and other caregiving responsibilities tailored to infants' needs Document daily activities, observations, and any incidents accurately for record-keeping purposes Experience Prior classroom experience working with infants in a daycare or preschool setting is required Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in infant care is essential Experience with special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus Demonstrated ability to manage behavior effectively through positive guidance techniques Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred; ongoing training in early childhood education is advantageous Familiarity with classroom management tools and caregiving routines for toddlers and infants is important Previous nannying or babysitting experience caring for infants can be valuable in this role You will be preferred over other candidates if you have completed your DCF 45 hours Join us as an Experienced Infant Teacher (Closer) to inspire young minds while providing compassionate care in a lively environment!
