Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to early childhood development standards, including Montessori and other pedagogical approaches. Manage classroom environments effectively by applying classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating space. Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and inform instructional strategies; maintain detailed records of each child's growth and milestones. Maintain compliance with childcare regulations, health and safety standards, and best practices in early childhood education. Skills Proven experience with classroom experience in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating effective classroom management and lesson planning skills. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, including toddler care, behavior management, and early intervention strategies. Expertise in curriculum development across various educational domains such as literacy education, math (including Montessori methods), physical education, and special education needs. Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learners using differentiated instruction techniques; experience working with students requiring additional support is preferred. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools used in early childhood settings.
