VPK teacher/Daycare Workers NEEDED Little Anointed Ones Orlando, FL Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications CPR Certification First aid Daycare First Aid Certification Classroom experience Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Worker/ VPK teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages, from infants to preschoolers. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster developmental growth, social skills, and a love for learning in young children. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while working in a dynamic and supportive setting. Responsibilities Supervise and care for children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, including play, arts and crafts, storytelling, and educational exercises Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care as needed Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine caregiving tasks for infants and toddlers Enforce classroom rules and behavior management strategies to foster positive social interactions Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is highly preferred but is not required. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Experience with classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior Familiarity with working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse groups of children and families Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage parents effectively Join us here at Little Anointed Ones in creating a joyful learning environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to grow!
