Daycare Teacher

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing young minds and creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. This role involves working closely with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, fostering their development through play-based learning and structured activities. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood education. Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being. Facilitate activities that encourage social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques. Provide care for children with special needs or disabilities as required. Conduct regular assessments of children's development and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Requirements Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred. Background in early childhood education or related field is highly desirable. Familiarity with classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment. First aid certification is a plus. Experience in caregiving or babysitting roles will be beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children are essential qualities. Experience working with students who have disabilities is an advantage. Knowledge of toddler care practices is preferred.
