Preschool Teacher

Early Childhood Teacher World Class Academy | Palm Beach Gardens, Florida World Class Academy is a leader in Early Childhood Christian Education, serving children from infancy through VPK. We are seeking an energetic, nurturing, and dependable teachers who are passionate about early childhood education and enjoys helping young children learn, grow, and thrive in a faith-based environment. We are looking for teachers at all levels including VPK. The ideal candidates will have experience working with children, a strong understanding of child development, and a genuine love for partnering with families to support each child's growth and success. Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging activities based on our curriculum that encourage curiosity, exploration, creativity, and problem-solving.
• Follow the daily classroom schedule, including teacher-directed instruction, child-centered learning experiences, outdoor play, meals, hygiene routines, rest time, and transitions.
• Provide attentive care and supervision for children in accordance with their age and developmental needs.
• Foster positive relationships with children through active engagement, play, and meaningful interactions.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
• Encourage children's social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual development.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Communicate effectively with families regarding their child's progress and daily experiences.
• Maintain attendance records and other required documentation.
• Collaborate with school leadership and fellow teachers to support classroom and school-wide goals.
• Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Provide guidance and support to assistant teachers within the classroom. Qualifications
• Loving, patient, positive, and dependable personality.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required .
• Experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or VPK-aged children in a licensed childcare, preschool, or faith-based setting preferred .
• Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices preferred .
• Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred .
• Completion of DCF 45-Hour Child Care Training preferred .
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification preferred .
• Minimum of one year of professional experience working with young children preferred .
• Ability and willingness to obtain required credentials and training in accordance with state licensing requirements. Schedule
