Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Preschool Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will ignite curiosity and foster growth in children aged six weeks to five years old. In this dynamic role, you will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development. Your expertise in early childhood education and child welfare will inspire a love of learning while supporting each child's unique developmental journey. Duties Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori principles to support holistic childhood development. Plan and execute daily lesson plans that align with educational standards and individual student needs, including special education and early intervention strategies. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management practices to foster a respectful and inclusive environment. Provide attentive toddler care and classroom management to ensure safety, comfort, and active participation of all children. Utilize assessment tools such as standardized testing to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly; incorporate tutoring methods when necessary to support individual learning goals. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support child welfare initiatives and ensure comprehensive care for each child's physical, emotional, and educational needs. Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and lesson plans while adhering to licensing requirements for daycare or private school settings. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare environments; classroom experience is essential. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, classroom management techniques, and early intervention strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development across multiple domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Experience with special education needs and behavior management to support diverse learners effectively. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to plan lessons that incorporate standardized testing results and adapt teaching approaches accordingly. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; prior preschool or private school experience is highly valued.
