Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. As a Preschool Teacher, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Your role is vital in fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom where children can explore, learn, and thrive. You will work closely with children aged 2 to 5 years old, supporting their individual needs and encouraging a love for learning from the very start of their educational journey. Responsibilities Develop and implement creative, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and curriculum frameworks such as Montessori or other pedagogies. Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes social skills, emotional regulation, and cooperative play among children. Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining a structured routine that supports learning objectives. Support children's developmental milestones by applying principles of childhood development and early intervention strategies. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior and address challenges constructively. Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular communication about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or special education needs. Maintain detailed records of student progress, assessments, and individualized plans when necessary. Skills Strong knowledge of curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children, including literacy education, math fundamentals, physical education, and sensory activities. Experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings, including toddler care and classroom management. Familiarity with special education practices and early intervention programs to support diverse learning needs. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to implement standardized testing methods for early assessment purposes when applicable. Proficiency in lesson planning that incorporates Montessori principles or other child-centered educational philosophies. Knowledge of child welfare policies and best practices for ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all students.
