Infant/Toddler Floater

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Infant/Toddler Floater to join our early childhood education team. This role provides flexible coverage across classrooms, supporting the development and well-being of young children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, possess strong caregiving skills, and be adaptable to various classroom settings. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the growth and learning of infants and toddlers while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education. Responsibilities Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and play activities Support classroom teachers by helping implement educational activities and developmental programs Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in accordance with health and safety standards Foster positive behavior management techniques to promote social-emotional development Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent care and effective communication with families Adapt quickly to different classroom needs and age groups as assigned Document observations related to children's progress and behavior as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or caregiving settings Knowledge of childhood development, infant care, toddler care, and classroom management Certification or training in First Aid and CPR (or upon hire) Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with children, families, and team members Childcare or early childhood education coursework or credentials are desirable Demonstrated patience, nurturing qualities, and a genuine passion for early childhood development Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing classroom needs We offer competitive pay based on experience and education.
