Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher and afternoon closers to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment. This position involves overseeing classroom activities, guiding students in their academic and personal development, and collaborating with other educators to enhance the educational experience. The Lead Teacher will play a crucial role in implementing curriculum and ensuring that each child receives the support they need to thrive. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote literacy and biblical standards. Manage classroom activities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff through effective communication. Provide individualized support to students, including tutoring and assistance in areas of need. Utilize ACSI principles to create an enriching learning experience that encourages exploration and curiosity. Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs. Conduct assessments to evaluate student performance and provide feedback to parents. Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices and enhance classroom management techniques. Maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Requirements 45 DCF hours completed, REQUIRED Experience required-pay is also based on experience and education Shift will be anywhere from 7:30am-5:30pm, must be able to work this shift everyday Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create an inclusive atmosphere for all learners. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
