Responsibilities Lead daily classroom activities that promote early childhood development, including literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills. Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that align with early intervention strategies and childhood development standards. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques to create a respectful and engaging learning environment. Collaborate with team members to design lesson plans that incorporate Montessori principles and innovative teaching methods. Support children with special education needs by adapting activities and providing individualized attention to foster inclusive learning. Maintain detailed records of student progress, standardized testing results, and lesson plans to ensure compliance with educational standards. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and classroom activities to foster strong home-school connections. Requirements Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education programs. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and Montessori or similar educational philosophies. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage families. Ability to manage classroom dynamics while ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for all children.
