Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Lead Toddler Teacher to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will lead classroom activities, develop engaging curriculum tailored to toddlers' developmental needs, and create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, loved, and inspired to explore. Your leadership will help lay a strong foundation for each child's early learning journey while embodying our values of faith, kindness, and excellence. Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy education, social skills, and early childhood development. Lead daily classroom activities focused on toddler care, behavior management, and classroom management strategies. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and respect among children. Collaborate with families to support each child's unique needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom adhering to childcare standards and best practices in preschool experience. Utilize effective communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members consistently. Support the professional growth of assistant teachers through mentorship and ongoing training. Skills Extensive experience in classroom management within early childhood education settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques. Proven ability in curriculum development with an emphasis on literacy education and math concepts suitable for toddlers. Familiarity with special education strategies and early intervention programs. Excellent communication skills for working effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Experience in lesson planning tailored to preschool age groups with a focus on physical education and child welfare practices. Ability to manage classroom dynamics confidently while fostering a nurturing environment rooted in Christian values. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
