Sonrise Christian Preschool is a Christian preschool in Pinellas County dedicated to providing a loving, safe, and academically rich environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, academically, and spiritually. We are seeking a warm, dependable, and nurturing teacher to join our team in our new one-year-old classroom. This position is ideal for someone who truly enjoys working with toddlers, values teamwork, and has a heart for early childhood education. Position Overview The One-Year-Old Teacher will help create a calm, engaging, and loving classroom environment that supports the developmental needs of young toddlers. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, organized, and able to provide excellent care while maintaining active supervision and classroom routines. Responsibilities Provide loving and attentive care for one-year-old children Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom Follow daily schedules and routines including meals, naps, diapering, and activities Engage children through age-appropriate play, music, sensory activities, and learning experiences Communicate professionally and kindly with families Work cooperatively with administration and fellow teachers Maintain compliance with Pinellas County Licensing standards and school policies Support the Christian mission and positive culture of the school Qualifications Experience working with infants or toddlers preferred Must meet Pinellas County Licensing requirements 45 DCF hours completed or willingness to complete within required timeframe CPR/First Aid Certification preferred Dependable, patient, and team-oriented Warm and professional communication skills Ability to actively supervise and engage with children throughout the day Schedule & Benefits Monday-Friday Supportive and family-oriented work environment Paid holidays and school breaks (if applicable) Opportunities for growth and professional development How to Apply Please submit your resume through Indeed.
